So , a little known fact about me…

I'm not really an avid follower of contemporary popular music. 

It's just not my thing.

My most common experience has been to attempt an interest and to hear something I love, only to end up being completely disgusted or disillusioned by the lyrics. 

What can I say? I'm picky.

But, in spite of my lack of interest, I do receive some exposure now and then thanks to the hounding suggestions of my sister.

And once in a blue moon (much to her joy) we find a winner. 

This is my song of choice lately….

We had a thrilling day with family visiting the big city science center….and all of the pictures from that would be on my camera which requires a cord for transferring to my computer. The cord that is in my bedside drawer…..far away from me at the moment. (no matter how I hard I try I always forget something!)

So here's the wrap up of our fabulous day, taken with my handy dandy point and shoot….. enjoying our getaway at auntie's.

A night of fellowship and Irish food.

And what do I have to show for my day? Well, no pictures, but all of the laundry in my house is washed, dried, folded, and put away. !!!!!!!!! For those of you who don't have laundry issues, let me tell you: this is BIG!

We had some company today.

(I made that sweet blanket, by the way. My first crocheted creation!)

I should have a slew of exciting pictures of fun between friends, but I don't.

Really, if this little girl came to your house and needed to be held, I bet you'd toss the camera aside too!
