For two mornings in a row, I’ve felt the need to capture the view from my bedroom window.
I am not someone who starts rejoicing when I wake up to a cloudy day…we all know that.
But even I, the girl who wants sunshine 365 days a year, cannot deny there is a beauty in the clouds and fog and gray.
It’s a different kind of beauty for sure, but there is something about it that deserves notice, and even appreciation.
Seems like a fitting metaphor for life. There’s always something beautiful, even in the absence of the sunny days.

I LOVE the gray. I can’t say I would love it everyday, but someitmes a gray day brings me to a place of peace. I love the line you write about, “there’s always something beautiful, even in the absence of sunny days.” Thanks for the reminder.

These are beautiful captures. I’m with you on preferring the sun, but you can’t deny the pretty to be found in the gray. Thanks for linking up!
