Hope everyone’s having a wonderful holiday. I’m trying to take it easy after being up past my bedtime last night!
The new year always makes people look back and get all nostalgic, so I thought I’d give you an assignment.
I want your top ten best memories of 2009. Happy or sad doesn’t matter. Specific moments, or just general lessons learned…whatever. Just whatever was big for you this year.
In random order, here’s mine
- My sister having her first baby. My trip to meet Princess Darling.
- Learning that life goes on even when I don’t stick to the cleaning schedule.
- Lots of mini-vacations to stay with my sister in the town where it never gets cold.
- Changes in extended family relationships…some good, some not so much. But all a chance to grow.
- Learning what trusting in the Lord really means…and realizing how little I actually do it.
- Going on an all day quad adventure with my big girls. So fun!
- Meeting the Pioneer Woman.
- Laying on the trampoline in the dark, star-gazing with the people I love most.
- Having two girls old enough for school.
- Of course, I had to save the best for last. Hearing Miss I say “my love you mommy!” for the very first time. I hope I never forget that little voice.
Okay. You know mine. Now it’s your turn.

Here goes…
1. The hubs’ new job. I love the security and peace of mind it gives me.

2. Staying home full time after being in school so long.
3. Trips to Arizona to visit family.
4. Meeting up with you at ChuckECheese! It was great to catch up again!
5. Having to show some “tough love” to a family member to get her some help. It was worth it
6. Cameron’s Survivorman birthday party on Mt. Graham. All the parents/step-parents were there, and it was really comfortable and fun. Just the way it should be.
7. Watching as a small bear walked near our camp site- right behind where the kids had built their fort. Yikes!
8. Getting the girls’ ears pierced. Adorable
9. Having 3 kids in school
