I love reading these, but never take the time to write one myself...so here goes...

For Today… December 16,2009

Outside my window… an cold, overcast day.

I am thinking… that I should probably get up and change the laundry over, but that would mean I would have to fold it, so I will stay right here ;)

From the learning rooms… I am actually researching a homeschooling curriculum for the big brother. At school they are busily preparing their Christmas gifts and getting ready to enjoy fun days tomorrow and a half-day on Friday.

I’m thankful for… blogs and facebook. They make the miles disappear during the holidays.

From the kitchen… making lists for our annual Christmas cookie bake-a-thon. "What’s your favorite Christmas treat?" We're simpletons..gingerbread cookies, sugar cookies, and caramel are our yearly staples.

I am wearing… a plum colored longsleave shirt and blue jean capris.

I am reading…nothing. Just blogs and scriptures.

I am creating… nothing.

I am hearing… The heater kick on again.

Around the house… lots to do. Lacking motivation to do it. The kids get home at 3:30 and by 3:45, it is all undone. I should probably change my attitude ;)

A few plans for the rest of the week… just the basics, find some lights to look at, get ready for the big kids to be home, watch Christmas movies, and enjoy another holiday with my little family.

Ok...no more excuses. Now I have to get some things done around this house!! :) <3
