Monday Night

November 23, 2009

For Today… November 23,2009

Outside my window… freezing cold and bright shiny stars.

I am thinking… I wish my photoshop program would work because I want to upload pictures :(

From the learning rooms…   Thanksgiving extravaganza!  Lots of fun.

I’m thankful for… all of the people in my life…friends, family.  So many loving people.  I am blessed!

From the kitchen… tomorrow we are going to bake a pumpkin for the first time…then make some fun desserts of course.  For Thanksgiving my responsibilities are homemade dinner rolls (thank you bread machine!) and a blueberry pie from scratch (at Miss A’s request).

I am wearing… pajamas.  sorry to be so boring.

I am reading…  lots of fun Thanksgiving books from the library.  And this finally came in…it’s so great!

I am creating…  the cutest personalized ornaments you’ve ever seen.  I’ll show you when they’re finished.

I am hearing… quiet.  Other than the noise of my own stuffy breathing.

Around the house… hombre is home with us for the whole week, so I am in maintenance only mode…will probably go on a crazy cleaning spree Saturday morning so we can do all the Christmas decorating over the weekend.  My girls cannot wait.  Every day for over a week Miss A has been telling me “it’s almost December!!!!”

A few plans for the rest of the week… Thanksgiving fun with friends tomorrow.  Lots of baking on Wednesday. Big dinner on Thursday.  Shopping in the dark on Friday morning (yes, I am one of those people)…  I wonder if I can possibly squeeze in anything else.  Oh yes! Christmas light parade Saturday night.  Gosh, I really hope no one gets sick this week! :)

Or leave me a note in the comments… I’d love to hear about your day :)
