Monday Night

August 24, 2009

For Today… August 24,2009

Outside my window… I can’t see out my window because my blinds are closed, because that’s what I do when it’s DARK.

I am thinking… need. sleep. badly.

From the learning rooms… taking fall break a little early since Auntie is visiting :)

I’m thankful for… do you get tired of hearing me say my husband?  Because I just can’t seem to stop saying it.

From the kitchen… my sis cooked fabulous chicken alfredo for my birthday dinner tonight :)   We can just eat cereal the rest of the week, right?

I am wearing… pj’s. And make-up.  Because I actually put some on today.  And I’m really horrible about washing it off.  Which is why I never put it on. :)

I am reading… The Christian’s Secret of A Happy Life for Today … a modern english version of the classic by Hannah Whitall Smith.  Lame title.  AMAZING book.  I love it.

I am creating…  don’t you think “creating” is a really daunting word.  I never feel like I have something to share that lives up to that…

I am hearing… Silence.  Sometimes I enjoy the silence.  Most of the time I’d rather be hearing my girls.  Unless of course they are fighting!

Around the house… laundry catch-up because I kind of just decided to not do any last week…you know, just for fun.

A few plans for the rest of the week… my sister and her family are here, so we will be completely entertained the whole week.  Then the world will feel so empty when they leave :(

Or leave me a note in the comments… I’d love to hear about your day :)
