For Today… June 15,2009
Outside my window… sunny and bright. Really enjoying that after a week in Oregon
I am thinking… so many things to catch up on…what do I do first?
From the learning rooms…I was thinking about having the girls write a “book” about our trip. Trying to decide the best thing to use for illustrating.
I’m thankful for… a wonderful week away…in my head I keep thinking the word retreat describes it so much better than vacation.
From the kitchen…lots to make. we came home to NO food. Went grocery shopping yesterday, now I need to get started on granola, yogurt, and something for snacks.
I am reading… Keeping a Quiet Heart by Elisabeth Elliot. I love her. My absolute favorite. Always makes things so clear.
I am creating… still at work on the b-day gifts. I’ll share after they’ve all been distributed.
I am hearing… quiet. But only because I decided to hide in the bathroom
Around the house… I don’t know where to begin…at least the unpacking is done.
A few plans for the rest of the week… dinner with family tonight, followed by a late softball game, summer movies for kids, summer storytime starts at the library this week (yay!) , my book club Friday night…(Finally I’ll get to vent all of my feelings about Alice).
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you…
Here’s a sneak peak of the vacay pics. This is the view of Paulina Valley (part of the 22,000 acre ranch we spent the week at). We had a blast taking the girls through these mountains on quads.
Looking at the picture now kind of makes me want to bust out some Dixie Chicks…. “Wiiiiiide Open Spaaaacces”
Visit The Simple Woman here.
Or leave me a note in the comments… I’d love to hear about your day

Why not type their stories into the computer and use vaction pics for the illustrations.
I laughed out loud at hiding in the bathroom. I did the same. Even the cat would stick his paw under the door trying to get in.
