Let me start out by saying that the following is taken from a work of fiction.  I’m not sharing it as a doctrinal concept, just a sweet idea…something fun to contemplate about one of those big mysteries that awaits us.  I just had to clarify that because I get real grumpy when people take works of fiction and decide to “preach” them.

I was browsing through old journals today and found this:

What seemed when they (the saved) entered it, to be the vale of misery turns out, when they look back, to have been a well; and where present experience saw only salt deserts, memory truthfully records that the pools were full of water.  …

Heaven is reality itself.  All that is fully real is Heavenly.  For all that can be shaken will be shaken and only the unshakable remains.  …

That is what mortals misunderstand.  They say of some temporal suffering, ‘No future bliss can make up for it,’ not knowing that Heaven, once attained, will work backwards and turn even that agony into  glory.
