The Dolls

Over the weekend, without thinking it through too much, I promised the girls that we could make our own dolls sometime this week.

Of course, I forgot about it, but they didn’t.

So, today during Miss I’s nap, we set out to create some exciting dolls.

I decided to supress my need for things to be done perfectly and just keep it simple.

Here’s what we ended up with…

Meet Miriam, Pocahantas, and Baby.

Completely ridiculous, I know. I think they look like mummy wrapped bowling pins.

But it doesn’t really matter what I think.

The girls played with them the entire afternoon, and took them to bed with them.

So I guess it was a success.

You are such a great mom!!! I bet they will be treasured as they get older! I had a homemade doll that I played with till it feel apart!

I love I’s princess cape!?

I noticed that the girls’ clothes matched the dolls’ clothes…very fun. =)
