Sharing Saturday

April 25, 2009

Sorry I disappeared this week….I seem to be quite the slacker lately. :)

Everyone should read this post about the multi-tasking mom.  Really good.

Check out 40 ways to go green…I counted, I do eleven of the things on this list….not because I’m SO green, just because they save a lot of money.

I love these ideas for great gifts for kids that don’t involve stuff.

Here you’ll find my favorite frontier lady sharing about her family’s homeschool experience.

I was really blessed by this Earth Day story.

Finally, you have to read about being still.  I don’t know if I’m the only one, but this is a hard thing to do.  Of course most things that are really good don’t come easily. :)

I’ll try really hard next week…don’t leave me! ;)

Here’s your reading assignment for the weekend …… ;)

Thoughts on the cami.

Very interesting article….Generation Diva.

I know some of you will be encouraged to read snapshots by the ever-serene Soule mama.

My absolute favorite this week….different kind of beautiful.

Be sure to come back next week for tales of my PW adventure!

Easter Recap

April 15, 2009

I’ve got a ridiculous amount of pictures to sort and delete (the wonders of digital), but I wanted to share some of our Easter weekend.

We had fun dyeing eggs with Grammy, Papa, and Auntie Anna.

We decided a few years ago that the best way to do Easter baskets in our house is on Saturday night…saves us from some of the chaos on Sunday morning when we’re trying to get out the door in time for church.

One of our traditions is new pj’s for Easter. The girls love it.

Here’s everybody all ready for church on Sunday.

I thought they looked pretty cute. :)

We had lunch at Grammy’s with family and friends, and a fabulous Easter egg hunt in the muddy yard!

Hope you all had a fun holiday as well!
