Ok, so I keep getting all of these emails from people….fill in the blanks about what you do for Christmas….send it back to me…..send it to fifty other people you know.

 

I think other people’s responses are kinda fun to read, but I never want to bother responding myself; my true brattiness shows through.

 

So, I’m trying to be nice, and thought I would participate by answering the questions here.  Then, any of you who haven’t recieved one of these e-mails can just consider this your invitation, and answer the questions in the comments.

3. When do you put up the tree? the weekend after Thanksgiving

 

4. When do you take the tree down?  sometime the week after Christmas…usually sooner than later

 

5.Do you like eggnog? gag…puke..sputter  uh, NO 

 

6. Favorite gift received as a child?  Barbie mansion

 

7. Hardest person to buy for? my husband

 

8. Easiest person to buy for? my mom

 

9. Do you have a nativity sceneYes

 

10. Mail or email Christmas cards?  Mail 

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received?  probably some kind of hideous clothes

 

12. Favorite Christmas Movie?  It’s a Wonderful Life

 

13. When do you start shopping for ChristmasOctoberish

 

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? No

 

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? those Kaukauna cheese ball  things with crackers

 

16. Lights on the tree?  Yes

 

17. Favorite Christmas song Oh, Holy night

 

18. Travel at Christmas or stay at home?   Travel to the grandparents…but they live in the same town.

 

 19. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer’? 

Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, Rudolph 

 

 

20. Angel on the tree top or a star?  glittery star 

 

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Christmas Morning

 

22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? Grinchy people ;)

 

23.  What theme or color are you using?  white, silver, pale blue

 

24. Favorite for Christmas dinnerFinger Foods…nothing fancy…just snack ALL day.

 

25. What do you want for Christmas this year? A happy day with my family.

I don’t have the energy to think of anything witty to say ;o…..so here’s your links for the week:

Here is a huge list of free gift tags that you can print from your computer…I love the vintage ones.

 

I thought it would be fun to help the girls make paper snowflakes today, so we followed this video.  Maybe I’m just dumb, but I had no idea how hard cutting snowflakes would be for small children….I ended up doing most of it and just let them stick them up in the window.  I think we’ll try this project tomorrow instead; I think it might be more at their level.
