Christmas Craftiness…pt.2

December 24, 2008

Somehow, in the midst of all the chaos, I’ve managed to get a little creativity in too this year.

I made new stockings for the girls.

The pictures are all from their first Christmases, which I love.

I also knitted a baby blanket for Miss I to go with the doll she’s getting for Christmas.

And my biggest accomplishment was making these superhero/princess/fairy costumes for each of the girls.

Here’s the view from the back.

Thanks to the skills of my mother-in-law, we turned this

into this.

And finally, thanks to a lot of help from hombre, I have this to remember the year by.

Your sewing skills are quite impressive! It would take me a year to sew those stockings…..I guess I should start now for next years christmas. I LOVE the superhero outfits, I would wear that around my house! Can’t wait to see a picture of the girls in them. Just don’t let them play “circus” on or around the couch, been there, done that!

Ok…you’re craftiness will put most of us to shame! I consider myself “crafty”, but this year the extent of my craftiness was getting all the presents wrapped b4 Christmas Eve night! The superhero costumes are super cute and we will be expecting pictures in those! I must say, I think you’ve done your mom (the better than “Martha”) proud! Have a great Christmas!

Being your mom, and knowing all of your chaos, I think you have done a wonderful job for your girls Christmas…..and you are not even doing it on Christmas eve night!…like I did a few times, remember??
