Thanksgiving Fun

November 26, 2008

Last year we had fun making fabulous indian headbands for Thanksgiving.  It was one of my favorite pictures from last fall, and in my mind, thinking about it yesterday, I saw the girls looking the same as they do now.

But of course, they didn’t.

All it takes is looking at a picture from exactly a year ago to really see how much your kids have grown. :(

This time last year Miss I had barely mastered crawling.  Now she’s busy climbing onto the kitchen table!

Anyway, enough looking back.

This year we decided to continue with the historical head-wear tradition.

So we made pilgrim girl hats.  Mommy was a failure and didn’t have any white construction paper, so our pilgrims are colorful. Oh well.  You can find directions here if you want to try out your own.

I think they turned out pretty cute.

What do you think?

I think, not only are the pilgrim hats adorable… but the little girls wearing them are even more adorable!! Amazing how much they change in a year… They are so precious! -Love, A. Stace

If you can blur out the modern day clothing and furniture in the
background, with their corn and pumpkin, they could be little girls
who just stepped off the Mayflower. Very, very sweet!
