So after my refusal to partake of any media yesterday, I of course had to get up and turn on the news first thing this morning.

And all I can say now is I am SO glad we have four years off until we have to go through all of this election drama again!

That aside, I was a little bummed because in running straight for the tv I inadvertently missed out on my morning devo time.

But then I was so blessed when we sat down for school, and read the assigned verses for Miss A’s Bible “lesson”.

Lord, you will give perfect peace to anyone who commits himself to be faithful to you.
That’s because he trusts in you.
Trust in the Lord forever.
The Lord is the Rock.
The Lord will keep us safe forever.
Isaiah 26: 3-4 (NIrV)

Apparently He knows how to make sure I hear from Him, even when I don’t make the effort.

I did slow down this afternoon and was totally refreshed by the words of Psalm 37.  I’m not telling you what they say though.  You’ll have to go read it for yourself.
