Everday Life?

August 16, 2008

What I did from 9am-10am today:

1) Mixed and kneaded a loaf of bread for lunch

2) ASKED the girls to clean their bedroom

3) Mixed and baked a batch of granola

4) Hung a load of laundry out to dry

3) Changed a REALLY messy diaper

4) Searched my car for the missing sippy cup

5) Washed a sinkful of dishes

6) SCRUBBED the dried up BBQ out of my crockpot

7) TOLD the girls to clean their bedroom

8) Mentally planned which subjects we would be covering for school today

9) Dressed Miss I

10) Vacuumed the girls’ bedroom.

Is this what is meant by multi-tasking???

As a side note, my method for vacuuming used to be: clean up the whole house and vacuum EVERY room at one time.  It has now evolved into: vacuum any indiviual room the second it is clean before it gets messy again.  If I waited for every room in the house to be clean at the same time, I think I might not vacuum again for at least 10 years, maybe 15.?.  Is this normal?

1 Friendly Note

Wow. I’m without words. I think I had a cup of coffee and stared blearily into space during that hour. :-)
