How did she go from this
to this
without me seeing it?
Somehow I missed it.

I just finished two miles on the treadmill and feel completely BRAIN. DEAD. So today I’m just gonna share some other people’s thoughts that I’ve liked lately.
This one totally reflects my attitude lately. Except I’m not on vacation, so it’s not quite SO glamorous in my world.
For thoughts related to parenting I thought this offered some really great perspective.
I thought this was a great, honest post about how what you see on a blog is not all there is. It took me awhile of looking and being evious of all these beautiful, glamorous lives before I realized, oh yeah! They’re just sharing the good stuff. Their lives get messy too.
Here is something for a little laugh.
Here is another laugh; I don’t know why I think this one is so funny but…
This is my new favorite recipe for bread.
And here’s your quote for the day:
One man’s way may be as good as another’s, but we all like our own best.

So, if you don’t know what I’m talking about, go look here.
My girls are obsessed with this video. Even though it’s supposed to be for babies, the older two think it’s great. Their favorite part is when the kids in the video get to help make a fruit salad. So they’ve been begging forever to make their own, and I finally got it together and we did it. It was a fabulous success. Here’s the how to, if you’re interested:
You need: 1 bowl, 1 large spoon per child (I found this out the hard way), 1 apple, 1 banana, 1 orange, 1 peach, 1 apricot, grapes, and strawberries.
First, WASH EVERYTHING
Be sure to keep a towel handy; things get a little wet
We washed everything but the banana. I managed to talk them out of that.
After everything is clean it’s time for assembly. I took care of cutting everything because I’m just not that nice, I guess. We didn’t peel anything (more fiber:) just chop, and toss in.
First grapes
then stawberries
then apricot
then the peach
next the apple
then the orange,
and finally the banana
The end result…
Two very happy girls
and
a fabulous snack!:)

With three little girls, our house is overflowing with femininity. Princesses, butterflies, dress-ups, make-up, baby dolls and tea parties. We are ALL ABOUT pink, ladybugs and “little house”.
Thank goodness there’s a man around to bring some balance. I asked the girls what their favorite things were about daddy and they said hide and seek , and tackling…..
It’s great to have a dad around to keep us from miss priss overload….baseball, basketball, video games, Spiderman, building with Legos and Tinker Toys, doing science experiments (not mom’s fave), making waffles:) Daddy does it all.
He’s really good at making us feel like a princess all the time!
He makes the scary things lots of fun!
He just makes everybody smile!
Happy Father’s Day to the most adored Daddy in the world!
Love your Queens;)
